We have just taken delivery of our new stylish NRAS wristbands! They are navy blue with the full charity name and website address embossed on them in bright yellow. We hope we can get as many people as possible wearing them with pride to raise awareness of RA and NRAS. We are asking for a minimum donation of £1 per band and you can purchase them from Val in Fundraising on 01628 501547 or val@nras.org.uk. They will also be on sale at all NRAS events this year and circulated to NRAS groups for members to buy if they would like to. So if you, or any family, friends or colleagues would like to help us by wearing a band get in touch!

Great idea
can they be sold at a shop such as whsmiths or sainsburys if smaller selling works well,as would raise profile alot more for NRAS.
or on this site aswell to order online?
i know other charitys do so such as lupus uk.

I know it's a bit early to be thinking about Christmas but I think that these would be ideal to send instead of expensive cards.

I always buy special cards for special people i.e. family and close friends, spending anything from £2 - £5 per card, such a waste of money. I spend a small fortune every year and every year I always say 'Next year I will just send them a cheap card (the ones that you get in the bumper packs) and donate the money I would of spent to charity.

So this year I am going to do it. Instead of buying expensive cards I am going to send an inexpensive one with wrist bands in and a little note explaining why. A cards a card never mind how much it costs, the only people gaining from my money is the card manufactures and the card shops.........well not anymore!!!!!!
